I have been going back ‘to my roots’, essentially trying to remember my core trainingITIL Diagram while I worked in an ITIL based IT shop. I remember trying to find free materials or videos about 2 years ago on the subject but there were almost none that were free. Well, times have changed and there is a great deal of free materials on the net. Here are a bunch of links to free materials if you are planning on training for the ITIL v3 Foundations exam:

Marco Cattaneo’s channel on YouTube, a.k.a. IsleBeeBach, has some AMAZING videos not just on ITIL but also on CobiT V4, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27002, ISO/IEC 38500, PMBOK V4, MOF V4, Prince2, 6 Sigma and Adobe! Be sure to add this link to your favorites:http://www.youtube.com/user/IsleBeeBach

Taruu has some free ITIL training materials on their website. Taruu.com is a Service Management Training, Consulting, and Support company. Here is a link to their free materials:http://taruu.com/practice.aspx

Don’t forget Google Books! There is a wealth of free material on ITIL, including free previews of OGC’s official ITIL material on Google Books.www.google.com/books

And lastly, here is a link to ITSkeptic.com that provides links to ten free ITIL v3 practice exams:http://www.itskeptic.org/itil-version-3-certification-eight-sources-free-it
